Brown's Skate Deflects Pass into Net Past Capitals

Senators Win 4-2

OTTAWA, Ontario - Connor Brown scored a fortunate goal off of Evander Kane's pass in the second period, helping the Ottawa Senators to a 4-2 win over the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night.

Brown was driving to the net when Kane's pass went off his skate and past Capitals goaltender Ilya Samsonov. The goal gave the Senators a 2-1 lead at the time, and they would go on to win the game.

Brown's goal was his fifth of the season. He has been a key part of the Senators' success this season, as they are now 10-5-1 and in first place in the Atlantic Division.
